So the trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops ColdWar and Warzone Season 4 just dropped yesterday and I know what some of you may be thinking… You’re thinking it will just be some new operators, some new guns or blueprints, maybe a new vehicle and that is it. Well, I could say you are wrong, but the truth is that you are also right. We don’t have all the info at this point and that’s no problem since we love to see it all unfold as we go. No fun in knowing the future before it occurs!
You should know by now though that Season 4 will drop on June 17th. To be more precise – from 9PM PT (Pacific Time) June 16th / 12AM ET (Eastern Time) June 17th. To check what time either of these time zones will be in your region, click the links provided.
If this is not your first time visiting this site, you will know that we give you a brief overview of some of the main things we are excited about and we leave the finer details up for your own exploration when the content drops. So lets get into it!

CONTENT
Here is the official roadmap for Season 4, broken up into four categories.

As always, there will be a 100 tiers with unlockable content including new weapons, new blueprints, new operators and more.
Noticed the nail gun, did you? Do you remember us posting on social media back in April 2021 (prior to the launch of Season 3) that a nail gun will be coming? We made reference to the DIY 11 Renovator from Black Ops III since there was no actual imagery of the nail gun that is expected. The Nail Gun coming in Season 4 is obviously an older version or model as it originates from the 1980s.

It turns out we were a season too early with some of these announcements since some of these weapons are only coming up in Season 4. Some of them, however, can now be seen in the roadmap as well as on the gameplay trailer for Season 4.

With satellites breaking orbit and crashing into Verdansk, as orchestrated by Stitch and his cronies of course, we are sure to get more than one new and chaotic point of interest – satellite crash sites. The gameplay trailer already gave away the locations to some of these so we already know a little bit about what to expect.

It would be great if it includes some side tasks for some nice loot or blueprints – much like how Adler missioned to grab a data card from the crash site in Algeria. Another example is how everyone fought to get the vault open at Nakatomi Plaza. Something like that would definitely have those crash sites swarmed by enemy assailants for a while.
Speaking of Nakatomi Plaza – rumour has it that the building’s name would be different in the Season 4 launch. It is apparently under “new management”… I’m not joking! But apparently it will simply be known as Downtown Tower now.

Traveling between POIs and/or other locations could be quite different with the launch of Season 4. Although we had an idea that dirt bikes would possibly be coming to the game, we were not sure exactly when. Well, it appears they will be coming with Season 4. This should hopefully make for some faster vehicular travel.

If that is still not fast enough traveling for you, then the long awaited Red Door Traveling System will be arriving in Season 4 as well. This has been quite a while coming. We are not sure yet where they would be located, how many there would be and how or where it will take you to. Rumour has it that there is no telling where you will end up each time you go through one of these. Wack, right? We’ll have to wait and see.

We are also a tad excited to see the return of the Hijack multiplayer map from Call of Duty Black Ops II.

That being said, the Gulag also got a makeover that may be more familiar to longtime Call of Duty players. Welcome to the Hijack Gulag.

Finally, as you all know by now – Warzone is here to stay for a long time. Despite new Call of Duty title releases, it was said Warzone will be like the gel that brings them all together. Right now we have Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War meeting up in some shape or form in Call of Duty Warzone. This is also the plan for Call of Duty Vanguard. With that said, we heard that Season 4 will also bring us another new map that interlocks with the coming new title. A WW2 Pacific Vanguard-themed map. Makes sense, right?

Are you counting down the days like we are until the launch of Season 4 ?
